Background
Dr Ting is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist who has worked in secure hospitals at all levels of security across the East Midlands, in the NHS and the independent sector, as well as in prison healthcare and a community forensic team.
He is an NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur and a software developer with a particular interest in electronic patient record systems.

Dr Ting has acted as an expert witness since 2022, providing written and oral evidence in Crown Court cases including violent and sexual offending, on fitness to plead, capacity to form intent and hospital disposal.
