MBBS, MRCPsych
Dr. Ting holds the degrees Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, University of London 2015), has membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych, 2020) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Forensic Psychiatry (2025). He is approved by the Secretary of State under Section 12 (2) of the Mental Health Act 1983. In addition to these, he is an NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur and a software developer with a keen interest in electronic patient record systems.
Dr. Ting has experience working in secure mental health hospitals in all levels of security across the East Midlands region, both in the NHS and the private sector. He has worked as part of an integrated healthcare team in prison and with the community forensic team. His expertise includes psychiatric assessment, treatment and risk management strategies.
Dr. Ting has worked as an expert witness since 2022. He has provided written and oral evidence for various Crown Court cases including violent and sexual offending, addressing issues such as fitness to plead and stand trial, capacity to form intent and hospital disposal.
